Allegany Soil Conservation District Staff & Board Members: The Carroll Soil Conservation District Office is co-located with our conservation partners of the USDA, Natural Resource Conservation Service and the Maryland Department of Agriculture - Office of Resource Conservation. The staff here are employees of either the District, USDA or the State. They all work under one roof to give you the best quality service available. |

Soil Conservation District Board Members: The five (5) Board Members are local agricultural producers who promote through the District methods to conserve soil and reduce runoff from agricultural operations. They meet montly at the District office to discuss local, state and national conservation issues and programs, and to direct staff on where to place priorities.
