Kevin Dodge (left) the Director of Natural Resources and Wildlife Technology Department at Garrett College in McHenry, MD was presented the Maryland Envirothon Outstanding Service Award by Co-Chair Craig Hartsock  (right) at the MASCD Annual Meeting this July 16, 2008. Kevin continues to offer his "night hikes" and other fun-filled learning situations for the State event each June as he has for many many years. Congratulations to Kevin!

MASCD President Lee McDaniels receives the NACD quota award
for Maryland from Steve Robinson, NACD President-elect.
Maryland received a Full Quota award as the result of the quota/dues equaled that of all districts paying at least the minimum of $775 each.
There were a total of 12 states (including Maryland)
that received this award.

Those states/territories were: Arkansas, West Virginia,
District of Columbia, Delaware, New Jersey, Alabama, Louisiana,
Virginia, Ohio, Rhode Island and Nebraska.

The awards were presented at the February 2008 NACD Annual Meeting.

The Maryland Envirothon presented the "Outstanding Service Award" to a long - time Envirothon Steering Committee member at the January 2008 Winter Meeting of MASCD.
