Maryland Secretary of Agriculture, Lewis Riley met with members of the Montgomery Soil Conservation District (MSCD) Board of Supervisors on Monday, February 14, 2005 .  He was in Montgomery with the Governor for an Inter County Connector tour and a Cabinet meeting in Rockville .  He stopped by the Agricultural History Farm Park to meet with local farmers and discuss MDA programs and initiatives.  About 25 people attended a luncheon and informal question and answer session.  George Lechlider also gave Secretary Riley a tour of our facility and mentioned the convenience farmers experience in having the District, Extension, NRCS, and FSA all in one building.
